19 April 08 ***** Krackatoa's 10th Year !

Ok Im back from oblivion with new music to boot in 2008 which is going to be a big year with two albums planned to be released, its been a long while in the making as my last release was way back in 2004 but I guess better late than never, checkout "The Universal Fluff Theory" which is my 4th album is a collection of some old some new tracks ranging from synth pop to ethnic funk to more background wallpaper music hope you enjoy.

Also I have just started a new blog showcasing new interesting music called Sonic Fluff so if your wanting to discover cool obscure music check it out as most of it is free to download :)

Just upgraded the site to hold 500meg webspace so now I can host all the Krackatoa tracks directly from here to make it easier to download. I decided to make higher quality variable bitrate mp3s that sound alot better than the previous 128kbs ones, I figured if my tracks are going to be floating around the internet I want them the best sound quality as possible, also I have mp3 tagged them all properly using the Musicbrainz database which is a great site :)

LastFM best thing in the net in a while :)

Checkout Lastfm if your a music junkie it is a great site with lots of interesting music freely streaming online, the concept is of the site that you download a plugin for winamp or use their custom mp3 player which records to a database all the music you listen to and then gives you suggestion on similar artist to your tastes. Is great way to discover some different bands you might not have heard before, krackatoa is on Lastfm too so check it out :)

Welcome to the new Krackatoa site :) ive finally redesigned it as it's been neglected the last few years, . I am currently working on my 4th cd which is a more hard edged album with more use of vocals and stronger baselines. Feel free to use the Krackatoa forum for any questions or feedback.
